For the Ghetto Chic

Take a look at this Michelle Phan video for DIY Makeup Remover. Haven't tried it yet, but it looks like a smart idea.

Leong's Legend in Chinatown

Here are the pictures from Leong's Legend that I promised. This Taiwanese place was quite good. The pork belly really stood out, everything else was tasty but nothing mind blowing. The food and drinks (bubble tea and soya milk) came out to about 12 pounds each even with a student discount.

Traveling

Hello! So this post is super delayed, but I went to Madrid about a month ago and forgot to upload my pictures.

Advice for traveling cheap in Europe:

1.) RyanAir- horrible airline but our trip cost about US $100.
2.) Airbnb.com - Not only will the place be nicer than a hostel, but you get to cook your own breakfast and other meals if you want. You can find really sweet places for great deals.
3.) Wherever you go in Europe, snack on baguettes, cheese, and fruits (also snacks brought from home). *Learned this from Julia and Jill.
4.) Go on SANDEMANs tours- free walking tours that are offered all over cities in Europe.
5.)Hang out with friends living in cities- there's a good chance they will know the cooler, cheaper places to eat and drink.
6.) Visit parks and museums (always ask for student discount).
7.) Supermarket wine in Europe is different than boxed wine in the States.
8.) For those studying in the UK, shop in Euros when you can. It comes out to be a bit cheaper!
