A Charming (but not so thrifty) Weekend

Hello! I had the pleasure of hanging out with friends that I met at my Chinese program in Shanghai this summer. Three of them came to London to visit me and I showed them around my new favorite city. Below are some pictures of some of the things we did.

1.) The beautiful Victoria and Albert Museum. Free of charge!

2.) Gourmet Burger Kitchen. They have really good quality burgers that you can get with all sorts of interesting fixings. The classic, small burger is about 6 pounds each, and you can add skinny fries with that for a pound.

My friend Ana bought a delicious chocolate milkshake to go with her burger. Highly recommend!

3.) Went to lunch with my friend at Foxcroft & Ginger in SoHo for a delicious flat white and pesto chicken sandwich. A little pricy for sandwiches and coffee but the place has a really chill ambiance and nice food. I think it's a good place to take friends who are visiting.

4.) Four Seasons- We went to Four Seasons, yet again, for some savory duck (well, technically ducks because we ordered two). Not all of the food we ordered is pictured, but you can see fried rice and the combination platter with cha siew and crispy pork. The noodles and vegetables are always yummy, but I haven't been impressed with their tofu dishes yet.
*Always ask for their 10% student discount.

We also went to Leong's Legend, MADD, and the legendary club called KOKO for the Monarchy concert. I'll try to take steal some pictures from my friends and make a post about these places as well.
