Here are some pictures from my weekend trip to Beijing, China. I didn't see too much cultural stuff, unless you count hanging out in numerous areas to eat and drink as cultural. I recommend visiting China's capital if you have people who can take you around and show you a good time.

In Retrospect

I loved my Puerto Rico vacation and would recommend it to anyone on a budget. I booked my delta flight about a month before I left and it was less than $350. I was lucky enough to have a friend with hotel points, so accommodation was quite inexpensive.

We booked a $55 tour for El Yunque but some of our classmates decided to rent a car for about $100 and walk the trails by themselves. I wish we would have known to do this because we only hiked for about 15 minutes on the tour and drove through most of the rainforest.

The tour of the Bacardi distillery was free and they give you two complimentary drinks. It could be a fun tour if you go with a big group of people, otherwise its pretty lackluster.

While staying on Ashford Ave., we really liked a restaurant called Orozco's (click here for a review from tripadvisor) and a sandwich shop called Pinky's (review here).
